It enables authorized IT, legal users, or investigators with highly scalable, optimized ediscovery functions to search, cull, hold, and export case-relevant electronically stored information (ESI).

Supports secure ESI evidence preservation in an audit-tracked repository of record with chain of custody
Leverages Content Collector, Classification Module and records management for proactive ESI management
Permits scheduling searches to allow ongoing automated collection and holds which eliminates the need for user executed recurring searches
It is optimized for high volume e-mail and non-e-mail content types with a rich set of functionality including embedded automated hold capability to suspend the normal scheduled disposition of content
Delivers chain of custody, audit, and reporting capability to demonstrate authenticity and meet chain of custody requirements
Integrates with eDiscovery Analyzer for early case assessment
Exports case relevant ESI, in native or Electronic Discovery Reference Model
