Features and benefits
The IBM® Rational® Data and Application Modeling Bundle packages best-of-breed tools for both data modeling and software modeling into one offering. This provides data-oriented software designers or DB Architects who need to also work from software designs, a convenient way to acquire all the architectural functioanality they need. Both tools are based on Eclipse and can be coinstalled for a fully integrated user experience. Transformations between UML object models and Logical Data Models (in E-R or other common notations) are included. Both tools feature lifecycle integrations with the IBM Rational Software Delivery Platform.
