IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center v4.2 expands on previous versions by delivering several new enhancements including:

  • Performance management enhancements that leads to a 75% improvement in probe performance on IBM Storage and 3x improvement on supported servers

  • Simplified administrative tasks including wizard-based planners, configuration tools and automated provisioning that helps reduce manual errors and improve time to value

  • Improved “hot spot” management that enhances storage optimization and control over service levels
