COBOL for Windows uses UTF-16 in little-endian format in national data. If you need to process UTF-8 or UTF-16BE data, the compiler offers NATIONAL-OF and DISPLAY-OF intrinsic functions to convert to and from UTF-16LE.	This enables customesrs to develop COBOL applications that use Unicode for all application data.
Debugging options	COBOL for Windows offers several language elements, compiler options, and listing outputs that make application debugging easier. COBOL for Windows also supports the TEST compiler option, which enables your programs for the interactive debugger facility of IBM Rational Developer for System z.	This makes application debugging easier.
