Rational Performance Tester for Siebelは、アプリケーションのデプロイ前に、複数のユーザーがアプリケーションを使用した場合のテストを簡単に作成、実行、結果分析でき、システムのボトルネックをピンポイントで把握することができます。 ユーザーがWebブラウザーで行った操作を記録してテストを作成するので、プログラミングの知識なしにテストを作成できます。何回かマウスをクリックするだけで、各エミュレート・ユーザーが使用する独自のデータをデータ・プール機能を使用して関連付けることができます。直感的なグラフィック・テスト・スケジュール機能により、タイプの異なるユーザーやユーザーのアクティビティーを正確にシミュレートするテストを構成できます。
テストの実施は、必要な人数の同時使用ユーザーをエミュレートし、パフォーマンスが劣るWeb ページ、URL、トランザクションを明確にレポートできます。どんなに複雑なシステムであっても、本稼動前にパフォーマンスに関する問題を把握し、それを修正することができます。
