With IBM SPSS Statistics Server, you gain access to additional algorithms, several of which are multi-threaded for improved performance on multi-core hardware. This speeds analytical processing and, with the automation and scheduling capabilities available through IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services, provides fast and efficient delivery of analytical results while maximizing your investment in information technology.

Techniques only available in SPSS Statistics Server include:

Sort and aggregate data inside the database prior to analysis

  • Naïve Bayes algorithm – Predict classification of cases by treating each variable as independent and equal

Mapping – Improve your ability to target, forecast, and plan by geographic area, and expand your reporting capabilities using pre-built map templates or ESRI files.

Faster tables – Generate fully interactive and editable output tables up to five times faster.

GLMM procedure can be run with ordinal values – Build more accurate models when predicting nonlinear outcomes such as customer satisfaction levels.

Run server jobs disconnected – Analysts can disconnect the SPSS Statistics client from the network when running server jobs and work uninterrupted without compromising the successful completion of their analysis or output. Once users reconnect to the server, their completed jobs are available.

Support file compression – Compress temporary files created by the sort procedure within SPSS Statistics Server to save disk space when sorting large files.
