• The right answers, fast: IBM Cognos Query helps users quickly and easily access data about their business processes. For example, an organization can gauge the success of a Web marketing campaign according to the number of Web hits received last month, last week or even today.

• Easy-to-use Web browser interface: Users can access the ad hoc functionality of IBM Cognos Query without installing or configuring anything on their desktop system. A Web browser is all that is needed.

• Flexible query creation or modification: The Query Design Wizard helps end-users create a query. It quickly and easily guides users through columns and layout options, assists them in creating calculations, and helps filter or group data. It can also allow modifications to pre-authored queries—which saves the user from starting from scratch.
