IBM® Mathematical Acceleration Subsystem (MASS) for Linux® consists of libraries of mathematical intrinsic functions tuned for optimum performance on the Linux platform.
- Includes scalar and vector functions
- Is thread-safe
- Supports both 32-bit and 64-bit compilations
- Offers improved performance over their corresponding standard system library routines
- Is intended for use in C, C++, and Fortran applications where slight differences in accuracy or handling of exceptional values can be tolerated
