DB2 Personal 9 can be remotely managed, making it the perfect choice for deployment in occasionally connected or remote office implementations that don't require multi-user capability.

Program charges: DB2 Personal 9 can be deployed on Linux or Windows. You must acquire a separate user license for each authorized user of this product.

The UDB PE package also includes Net Search Extender (single user), DB2 Spatial Extender (single user), and WebSpher Studio Site Developer Advanced.

DB2 Personal Developer's Edition (PDE): DB2 PDE enables an individual application developer to design, build, or prototype single user desktop or laptop workstation applications. This offering includes Windows and Linux versions of DB2 PE, DB2 Connect Personal Edition, DB2 Everyplace SDK, as well as the DB2 Extenders. The software in this edition cannot be used for production systems.
