IBM® Informix® Ultimate Warehouse Edition includes all Informix features on all supported platforms, plus IBM Informix Warehouse Accelerator. It delivers fast analytic query responses transparently to users and can accelerate warehouse queries up to 100 times or more. The software integrates into an Informix data warehouse environment, providing high-performance query software that is based on in-memory technology.

The Informix Ultimate Warehouse Edition consists of the following components:

IBM Informix Ultimate Edition—includes all Informix features on all supported platforms for development, deployment and distribution with unlimited scalability.
IBM Informix Warehouse Accelerator—enables acceleration without manual tuning for each workload, supports your existing tools and business processes, and works with your existing warehouse infrastructure.
IBM Informix Storage Optimization Feature—provides deep compression technology to reduce disk space and enhance performance.

Includes unlimited data, processors, storage and memory.
Provides full IBM Informix Flexible Grid functionality, including unlimited replication nodes and all high-availability cluster secondary instance types.
Includes the Continuous Availability Feature, allowing you to build a cluster of Informix instances around a single set of shared storage devices.
Enhances security with an advanced access control feature that enables cell-, column-, and row-level label-based access control. Lets you control data access down to an individual cell of information.
Includes the IBM Informix Spatial DataBlade® module, allowing you to implement spatial data warehouses to support business intelligence objectives.

Provides a logical extension to the Informix engine for quick off-loading and processing of queries.
Provides fast and predictable query response times on analytical workloads. Improves performance of analytical queries running on IBM Informix Ultimate Edition without requiring application changes.
Helps lower overall operating costs by reducing requirements for database tuning and administration, while speeding up the performance of data warehouse or online analytical processing-specific workloads.
Enables you to use the same database environment for mixed workloads.

Provides online support with no system downtime.
Compresses data efficiently—up to 80 percent savings on disk space and 20 percent input/output improvements.
