Rational Developer for System z Unit Test includes a preconfigured set of IBM software entitled for development usage, including the z/OS platform and its sub-features.
It includes the following middleware: IBM WebSphere Application Server for z/OS, CICS Transaction Server, IMS, IBM DB2 for z/OS, and IBM WebSphere MQ for z/OS.
Rational Developer for System z Unit Test includes the following programming tools: IBM Java™ SDK for z/OS, Enterprise COBOL, Enterprise PL/I, XL C++, IBM Rational COBOL Runtime (EGL), and IBM Debug Tool.

Rational Developer for System z Unit Test Standard enables a single virtual unit test engine environment.
