The IBM® Informix® Choice Edition enables you to develop and deploy low-cost, enterprise-class functionality for departmental or small- and medium-sized business solutions.

An Informix Choice Edition is available for either a Windows® environment or an Apple® Mac OS X environment. Each edition is limited to 8 cores over a maximum of 2 sockets and 8GB of memory.

Ideal for solutions that require a feature-rich, robust database with little or no administration. Can be tailored to meet specific needs.
Includes Enterprise Replication up to 2 node grid with clustering capabilities.
Includes Informix Spatial DataBlade solution to help you implement spatial data applications.

Includes high-availability features such as continuous log restore, and point-time instance-wide restore, table-level backup and recovery.
